Gili Air, Ring Making, Beaches

After saying goodbye to Gail and mark we took a short ferry to a neighboring gili island. There are 3: Gili T, Meno, and Air. We chose to skip the middle one and go straight to Air. Air is also the smallest.

We had two days riding bicycles around the sandy roads enjoying the sun.

On one day we did a silver ring course and made rings. I decided to do a thicker band with 3D mountains on the side. I chose to carve the silhouettes of the mountains and volcanos we have climbed in Indonesia: Merapi, Bromo, Batur, and Ijen. Robin designed a textured angled ring.

After our time chilling on Gili Air we got the ferry over to Kuta Lombok. This is when the rain started. Torrential rain and thunderstorms hit with fork lightening.

We are planning to make the most of the time here with swimming, surfing, and waterfall chasing!
