Chasing Waterfalls, Private Beach, Italian Dinner

The cockerels woke us up at sunrise and we couldn’t get back to sleep so we decided to start the day.

We began by going to the biggest waterfall on the island. It’s not the tallest but has the largest swim area. We paid 100 pesos and down we went to the falls. We swam for a bit before trying to go on the rope swings. They were charging an additional 50 pesos each for a go. Deciding that was a rip off we went for breakfast.

We found a small shack in the jungle for some fried eggs and toast. They also guided us to another waterfall called Lagaan falls. This was also 100 pesos to enter but we got to jump, slide, rope swing, swim, cave, and have a guide to take photos all included.

The water was milky blue and was cool but not cold. We went on the rope swing, the natural water slide, jumped off the falls, swam into a cave and crawled through a small gap into the falls, and swam around the lagoon area.

The guide told us about a beach nearby so next we went to find it. On the way we found another beach and as it was closer stopped there for a swim and sunbathe. We were the only ones on the beach!

At around 4pm we returned to a shower and got ready for dinner. We went to a fancy Italian restaurant and indulged on pasta and chocolate mousse cake.
