1st night In Bangkok

Currently 23:55 Bangkok time and after a MUCH needed cold shower we are settling in for a nice airconed nights sleep a proper bed. Much better than the window seat of an Etihad flight no matter what the advertisements tell you. Have completed my first 7-eleven trip with some tasty ship ramen, crisps and sushi roles to keep us going (see attached photos). The heat is not too intense but the humidity is like sitting in a steam room with 2 18kg bags on ur back, not fun. Waiting for our ‘grab’ taxi to pick us up from the airport was not unlike carrying 2 sweaty pigs on your back through a volcano. My legs are yet to de-swell from the flight so am feeling like a walking marshmallow. The hostel is nice and clean and everyone was already asleep at 9pm when we arrived (my type of people) we have an early start tomorrow so off to catch some dream time now. -R
