Malang, Javanese Food, Long Bus

We spent the whole day today on an 11 hour bus to the town of Malang. We have noticed that most of the Java towns are very similar. This is different to the other countries where every village is part of a new topography and culture.

The bus was nice with reclining seats, foot rests, free snacks and lunch, water, tea or coffee. The only downside to the bus was that it just didn’t stop. We had to ask twice for a toilet break. Strangely the locals didn’t seem to pee once!

Once we arrived we checked into the hostel and Robin was delighted to see 3 furry kitten faces by the door. Mum was close by too and we gave her attention as we played with the kitties.

We had some dinner at another Javanese place. Yummy.
