Kep, Crab Market, Guesthouse

We said goodbye to our 5 star hotel and checked out. It was sad to leave the fluffy beds, lemongrass scented towels, and their two dog Lambo and Lyka.

The bus took 30 minutes to reach Kep, a coastal province famous for its sea food. We checked into our guest house and met a very intelligent 7 year old girl called Ching. She knew a lot of English and told us that she was learning from YouTube. She was amazing! Her favourite YouTuber is Mr beast and her favourite fruit is strawberries.

We took a stroll to a restaurant for lunch and stopped by a bakery for some dessert.

Then we took a trip to the crab market. Rows of stalls advertise their fresh catch at amazing prices. You buy the seafood before moving to another set of stalls for cooking. Here you choose various cooking flavours and styles: black Kampot pepper, warm chili, seafood boil, stir fry. Then you find a bar with drinks to sit and eat your food.

We ordered some fresh crab spring rolls, and some shrimp tempura. It was the best tempura we have ever had. The crab was fresh and meaty too. Definitely going there for dinner again.

We went back. Played games and hairdressers with Ching before settling down for bed.
