Bad Weather, Good Pho

The weather disrupted our plans for the day. We were meant to hop on a cable car to an amusement park island but with gusts of 60mph the cable car was not operational. Probably for the best.

So we had breakfast at the hostel before Robin went for a head spa treatment. I was not feeling the best, we are both getting over a cold and a cough and I am a few days behind Robin so I stayed in bed and rested. She came back smelling the best she has done since the start of the trip!

With the wind still blowing, we went out and had some lunch before exploring a local jewelry shop. Robin got me a Christmas present bracelet that I have to try forget about. We also grabbed a drink at a dog cafe. We had no idea it was once until these huge dogs lumbered out the door as we were ordering.

Feeling as though we had exhausted the local area we came back to the hostel to shower and get ready for dinner. We went to a local pho place and it was the best meal whilst traveling so far. The lady explained to us how to eat the dishes from purely dunking green onion into spicy sauce to using bread soak up the soupy liquids. She was great and her food 10/10!

After catching up with Hannah on a call we packed our stuff and chilled out before bed.
